Three things are kept in your browser's local storage rather than in cookies. They stay on your device and are never sent anywhere by us:
| Name | What it is | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
consentPreferences | Your cookie choices (analytics, marketing) | Until you clear it |
consentSeen | That you have already answered the banner | Until you clear it |
token | Your sign-in session, so you stay logged in | Until you sign out |
None, unless you allow analytics. The site works fully without cookies — including signing in, booking and posting — which is why nothing is required for it to function.
If you allow analytics, Google Analytics 4 runs through Google Tag Manager and sets its usual cookies:
| Cookie | Purpose | Typical lifetime |
|---|---|---|
_ga | Tells one visitor apart from another | Up to 2 years |
_ga_RLGRRWMD20 | Keeps the session state for our Google Analytics property | Up to 2 years |
_gid | Tells one day's visitors apart | 24 hours |
Google Analytics records pages viewed, how you arrived, your approximate location (derived from IP) and your device and browser type. For details see Google's privacy policy.
Only if you switch marketing on in the banner. If you leave it off — the default — advertising storage, advertising user data and ad personalisation all stay denied, and no marketing cookies are set.
Everything is denied before you choose: the site loads with advertising and analytics storage both
switched off, so no analytics cookie is written and no analytics data is sent while the banner is
unanswered. If you decline, or change your mind later, we delete the analytics cookies we can reach
(_ga, _gid, _gat, _ga_RLGRRWMD20) and switch
Google Analytics off for your browser.
Use this button to bring the banner back and pick again:
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser's settings — the site will keep working — or use Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
