Imġiebaħ Bay

Access and rules

One of the 16 officially designated dog-friendly beaches, and the single exception to the sandy-beach ban: Imġiebaħ is the only sandy beach in Malta and Gozo where dogs are allowed, on the sand and in the water. It is hard to reach — in summer the bay is reached by car along the rural road opposite Selmun Tower — and there is no dog-friendly sign on site. Check the official list before visiting.
